The Walking Dead #150 has just been released on Kindle. I guess a Comixology version will be coming soon. It’s available at Amazon.com for $2.51 at the moment. I guess if you are patient, the price will go down a little more.
150 issues of the Walking Dead (not including specials) is kind of a big deal so it’s a SPECIAL EXTRA-SIZED ANNIVERSARY ISSUE – 40 PAGEs!
In our 150th issue, Rick Grimes finds himself… BETRAYED.
I have only read the first 5 issues of the Walking Dead so I won’t be getting this anytime soon but I’m sure many of you have been waiting with bated breath as according to Amazon.com, The Walking Dead #150 is the current no. 1 bestseller in Zombie Graphic Novels.
There is just one review as I write this and it is fairly positive:
This issue sets up a whole new adventure, which I am sure the next 50 issues will be about, so it is important. However, the road from the end of #149/first couple of pages of #150 to the end of #150 is almost just for show – what happens between didn’t alter what Rick was going to do in any way, except, as you can see from the cover, he is a bit dirtier when he does it.
As a fun note, it was also interesting to see the comic take a note from the TV show in this issue. If you watch the show you will instantly recognize how Rick resolves his #150 issue.
Written by Robert Kirkman and illustrated by Charlie Adlard, Stefano Gaudiano, Cliff Rathburn.
